Dr. Ashish Deshpande, MD, MS, is a Physician, Vice President & Head of Clinical Informatics at OM1. Ashish is OM1’s subject matter expert on effective data management, development, maintenance, and the implementation of informatics tools and processes for standardized & normalized high-quality data for outcomes research & analytics. Before OM1, Dr. Deshpande was a Clinical Advisory Architect with IBM Watson Health within their Solutions & Services portfolio, strategizing clinical as well as financial analytics strategies for larger Healthcare Systems and Clinically Integrated Networks. Dr. Deshpande has also worked in the Clinical Informatics field at Explorys, leading Content Development & Client Implementation teams, creating newer Analytic Content targeted towards Population Health, Value-Based Care, and Clinical Outcomes. Dr. Deshpande is trained in Internal Medicine and worked as a Hospitalist prior to moving into Clinical Informatics, and also holds a Masters degree in Applied Anatomy with targeted research in the fields of Multiple Sclerosis and Developmental Neurology from Case Western Reserve University.
