Eric Mertz is Vice President and General Manager, Europe at OM1. He serves as Executive Sponsor and primary Business Relationship Lead for Novo and brings deep experience in building and scaling high-performing operational teams, while forging strategic partnerships across Europe. Eric has an extensive track record delivering real-world evidence (RWE) solutions for pharmaceutical companies, payers, and regulators, and has been a key contributor to risk-sharing agreements and real-world data strategy across multiple therapeutic areas. He has built and led cross-functional teams across Europe and Japan, successfully scaling operations to support the delivery of complex RWE programs in global markets. A proven leader in digital health, he has also integrated advanced analytics into real-world research, helping life science partners unlock value from complex data assets and accelerate evidence generation. Eric holds an MBA from ESCM Business School in Montpellier, France, and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University Robert Schuman in Strasbourg, France.
